海恩里希海涅（17971856），德国诗人、政论家。生于犹太小商人家庭，因为对德国政治不满，于1831年移居巴黎，与法国作家雨果、巴尔扎克、乔治桑及波兰作曲家肖邦结识，积极支持法国大革命。作为革命的文静运动年轻的德国的要紧成员，他又从巴黎回到德国传播法兰西的革命思想。1843年与马克思结识，发表了政治诗集《年代诗歌》。1848年因革命失败，资产阶级民主派理论也随之破灭，加以病情恶化，全身瘫痪，陷入深沉的苦闷与彷徨，在患病期间一直得到忠实于他的小狐狸的精心照顾，卡蜜尔塞尔登是笔名，真名不详。这可能是海涅认识卡蜜尔塞尔登热恋时的情书。
